About the club

The White Mountain Fly Fishing Club (WMFFC) is an all-volunteer community of anglers based in Pinetop/Lakeside, Arizona. We fish the lakes and streams of the White Mountains — from Silver Creek and the Black River to the high alpine lakes around Sunrise and Big Lake — and we work to keep that fishery healthy for the anglers who come after us.

We've been meeting here since 1984. Today we're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with members from across the region who share a love of fly fishing and a practical, conservation-first ethic.

Our mission

"To assist in the development and maintenance of Fly Fishing opportunities and to promote and participate in Fly Fishing in its many forms."

When we meet

The club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at The Nature Center Lakeside (425 Woodland Rd, Lakeside, AZ). Social hour at 5:30 PM, meeting at 6:00 PM. Guests and new anglers are always welcome — you don't need to be a member to come to a meeting.
